Tiffany & Co Enamel Circus Performer Brooch Designed by Donald Claflin
This rare Tiffany & Co. circus performer brooch, designed by Donald Claflin and crafted by Carvin French in 1967 is part of a series of six acrobat brooches. The collection of brooches was showcased in a Tiffany advertisement published in The New Yorker on December 16, 1967.
This brooch showcases an oriental juggler with an intricately carved face, detailed with black enamel. He wears a red enamel jacket with green enamel buttons and a matching collar, paired with pavé diamond-studded pants and red enamel slippers. He gracefully balances six rondelle-cut diamond discs in his hand, bringing movement to the piece.
