Mounted in 18 karat rose gold
One of our favorite creations: we took this 6 carat diamond out of a typical Art Deco setting. For whatever lack of cutting technology they had 100 years ago, this diamond was cut very “deep”. Influenced by Renaissance era diamond rings along with Egyptian revival influence, we made a new mounting in rose gold that sets the diamond upside down to fully appreciate its depth. While most dealers would recut the diamond to make it “perfect”, we decided the diamond just needed a change of scenery to fully be appreciated. Just be yourself!
