An Art Deco cloisonné enamel 8 day desk clock made for the Chinese Market by Mathey Tissot. The case consists of a hardstone pedestal with scalloped edges, two fluted corals supporting a black Chinese lacquer rectangular frame with red sides and top, back with cloisonné enamel depicting a similar landscape as the dial. 

The top has four cabochon-shaped stones set on two hardstones.

The dial features cloisonne enamel depicting a Chinese landscape with a river flowing through mountains, flowers in the foreground, and a Chinese sailboat sailing on the river.  Diamond-set platinum Chinese characters for the numerals, diamond-set platinum hands.
